“Coach Willis helped me grow as an individual and athlete. When I first started track, I had no experience with jumping, and he helped me to realize my potential as a jumper. I was just cleared for sports after having spine surgery, and Coach Willis helped me to get back my physical strength while also teaching me the technicalities of long/ triple jump. My journey was not linear, and he supported me through every setback and plateau. Coach Willis is the type of coach to stick by YOUR SIDE and invest time and energy into your development as long as you are putting in the work. He developed me into a D1 athlete and gave me the confidence to believe that I can do whatever I put my mind to.”

“My daughter Marissa, a 10th-grade student at Westfield High School, has always loved running. But it wasn’t until she started working with Austin last summer that everything truly started to come together for her. From day one, Austin broke down her running form and completely retrained her posture and technique. He didn’t just focus on the mechanics—he also built up her confidence and strength, both physically and mentally.

One of the biggest milestones we’ve seen was when Marissa was finally able to get low in a squat—something she struggled with before. Austin has taught her how to lift correctly and move with intention. These changes have made a noticeable difference in her performance. In her first track meet of the spring season, she shaved five seconds off her time—a huge accomplishment for her and a testament to the work they’ve put in together.

Austin has helped Marissa become more aware of her body, from her arm posture to her running stride. His focus on technique, along with his motivational and inspirational coaching style, has made all the difference. He’s even guided her through changes in her diet and lifestyle that will benefit her beyond the track.

While Marissa isn’t necessarily aiming to run in college, she’s rediscovered a joy in running that she didn’t have before. She needed a win, and Austin made sure she got there—through structure, encouragement, and a lot of patience. On the hard days, he finds a way to make running fun again, and that’s priceless.

I’m incredibly grateful for everything Austin has done for Marissa. His enthusiasm, dedication, and ability to connect with young athletes is rare, and I would highly recommend him to any parent looking to help their child grow—on and off the track.” - A Grateful Parent
